Send a link to another device

Continue reading on another screen or move a long address without typing it. A link is sent as text and is not opened automatically.

How it works

  1. Copy the complete URL from the address bar and paste it into the text box. Check for private tokens or account-specific information.
  2. Send the text directly, or choose temporary cloud mode and share its complete private transfer link.
  3. Copy the received URL into the destination browser. Check the address before visiting it, especially if someone else sent it.

Direct transfer

Both pages must stay online for a direct WebRTC transfer. Some networks block the connection; a shared Wi-Fi network is not a guarantee.

Temporary cloud

Temporary cloud mode uploads encrypted content to Cloudflare R2. Use the complete private link on the receiving device before expiry.

Privacy

Treat the complete link and separate access key like a password. Share only with your intended recipient. Deleting a transfer cannot remove copies already downloaded.

Questions and answers

Does the receiver get access to the linked page?

Only the URL is transferred. The destination website may still require its own login or sharing permission.
